For those who might be interested in installing a DRL system on your Non-Canadian Discoverys; here is the system I used.
Daylight Running Module is available from JC Whitney using part
number 13-5227, and runs $24.99 plus shipping. This is a Hamsar Model#70986 module.

Wiring the module is as follows:
1. Mount Module in Generator compartment on firewall.
2. Connect Black (Ground) to chassis (frame) existing wire loom clamp screw.
3. Connect Red/Fused (+12V) to Power Stud on firewall located above Generator. Use 10A fuse, however do not install fuse at this time.
4. Connect White (Low Beam) to Headlight Wiring Harness Tan Wire.
5. Connect Orange (Hi Beam) to Headlight Wiring Harness Green Wire.
6. Run Green (Control) wire through firewall into center of dash area(0237T). I snaked the wire through an existing harness loom without
drilling any additional holes in firewall.
7. Connect this Green (Control) wire to CKT # 151/233 which is the switched ground for the E-Brake light, along with several other circuits.
8. Install 10A fuse into module fuse holder.

This will allow the DRL to turn on your low beams at 76% of normal output whenever the Ignition is in the "Run" position, and the E-
Brake is released. When the E-Brake is applied, the DRL will be turned off.
This is handy whenever you are warming up the "D" and do not want to light up the entire RV park.
The system is automatic, and requires no driver input.
